Vental Blinds used by Design Architect Shane Thompson
This build presented significant challenges for design architect Shane Thompson as the house is set in a gully near the Brisbane River.
Their perseverance was rewarded when this property was voted Brisbane’s House of the Year 2006.
Vental Blinds were incorporated in this award winning home to take maximum advantage of the surrounding gardens and sub-tropical landscape.
Each Vental Blind permits the filtering of light through the living space during the day as well as taking full advantage of the breezes. On overcast days the Vental Blinds are retracted to allow natural light to flow through into the living spaces.
