External Blinds on a Brisbane Residence designed by Shaun Lockyer Architects
Dove Industry has recently supplied and installed Vental Blinds on the South and Northwest facing windows on this property located in Brisbane.
With an elevated position, privacy was not a key issue, however the North West aspect required a solution to regulate the afternoon sun from heat build up and improve visual comfort by controlling glare and natural daylight.
Using the latest automation technology from Somfy these Vental blinds have a pre-set tilt function to control the amount of light entering a room.
Vental Charcoal Metallic 160 stove enamel finish has been used to reduce glare and blend seamlessly with the exterior finish of the home. The well designed sun control solution ensures indoor temperatures remain comfortable all year round providing an energy-efficient building design.
The Vental 80a2 model with wire guide supports was used on this project by Shaun Lockyer Architects, taking advantage of the minimal design and creating uninterrupted views of the Brisbane river and surrounding suburbs.
